A cleaner capture workflow

Keep the moment.
Skip the repeated footage.

Saving a replay several times can leave you with clips that repeat part of the same moment. Replay Cleaner finds exact overlaps in files you already saved.

01 / Choose

Pick your capture folder.

Start with original replay clips from the same recording setup.

02 / Scan

See what can be assembled.

The app identifies exact overlaps and separates eligible merges from results that need review.

03 / Export

Create a verified result.

Export a SAFE merge or MASTER sequence, then play it back. Your source clips remain available.

Made for original captures

A precise job.
Clear limits.

Original NVIDIA replay and OBS Replay Buffer captures are the intended starting point. Visually similar footage alone is not enough: the overlap must match exactly.

A MASTER joins a verified connected sequence. Separate moments remain separate; this is not an automatic montage maker.

Before you try it

  • Edited or re-exported clips may no longer match.
  • Changed audio, incompatible streams or uncertain joins can prevent export.
  • REVIEW results cannot be assembled automatically in this beta. Inspector choices alone do not unlock export.
  • OBS recording configurations still need broader independent testing.
  • Outputs need additional disk space. Originals are not automatically removed.

About this beta

Try it on a task
you already have.

We’re looking for a small group of people with overlapping replay captures. Tell us whether you got a useful output, whether the joins looked and sounded right, and whether you’d use it again.

Windows x64 · Version 0.1.0b32

How long is the beta available?

This build exports through 4 November 2026 UTC. From 5 November, scanning, results and diagnostics remain available. Existing exports are unaffected. Future access and pricing have not been announced.

What do I need to install?

Extract the entire Windows ZIP to a short folder and run ReplayCleaner.exe. Keep its _internal folder beside it. Python and FFmpeg are included; no separate installation is needed. This early beta is unsigned. If Windows blocks it, share the warning text with us rather than disabling protection.

Are my recordings uploaded?

No. Captures are processed locally. You can choose to share a diagnostics report if something fails. Initial feedback does not require sending footage.

How do updates work?

Check manually from Help in the app. Nothing installs automatically. During the private pilot, email us if release information is unavailable.

Where are the third-party notices?

Original notices, component terms and source instructions accompany the build. Matching dependency sources are supplied separately with the runnable package; you do not need to extract them to run the app.
